Yes You Can!

Process is such a heavy word and one that we are hearing more and more as we get further along in our relationship with the Lord. The word process has such depth and is not something that we can easily regard and live out. Process is painful but necessary and in the same breath process is something that you need to do in order to understand your purpose.

Process requires sacrifice, it many times is painful, it is unique and it is yours and yours alone to experience. Process is not easy and those who are willing to really go through the process in its entirely are those who are willing to push past even in the midst of FEAR and obtain their promise. Process is scary but it is not impossible.

There is an order to this thing called process that we must not lose sight of. There is timing and order in the Kingdom of God and we need to align to the order of time.

While going through the process you need to be willing to complete each stage of it without backing down. It is like a video game, the creator of that game doesn’t allow you to move to the next level of the game without finishing the first level. How is God, your Creator, any different? How can you Jump levels in the Kingdom of God without completing the previous one? It makes no sense and yet we would like the process to be easy or we would like to have a say in HOW the process should occur and how long it should take. The one choice you have in this is, are you willing to push past the fear and self-ego and finish that level? Are you willing to endure it to see your purpose, to see the blessing?

Process is not going to end when you have your miracle, when you have your heart’s desire, when you have your blessing. It won’t end when you stop mourning, it won’t stop when you found the man/woman of your dreams or the job of your dreams. Process will be something that will follow you all the days of your life. Are you willing to endure it and understand each one of those levels so that one day when you have breathed your last breath on this earth you can say I did it! I finished all the levels. I accomplished and fought the good fight and finished the good race. (2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful.)

I endure process because it teaches me who I am in this. I begin to discover the capabilities that I have. I begin to understand my strength and even my weaknesses through my process. I learn who I can lean on and who is not capable to walk this with me. It teaches me that by my strength alone, I can’t do this. It is only with Jesus Christ that I am able to endure the process.

Who would have thought that I would be at a place where I lost it all? Who would have thought that in the BEST season of my life, my life was torn into pieces right before my very eyes? Who would have known that my children would have to endure so much? Not me.  Process is painful, agonizing even. Yet God knew as He knows the beginning from the end. And in that knowing, He also placed people that would be able to HELP carry me through this. He placed amazing family members and friends by my side BUT it still cost ME EVERYTHING because I had to walk through this. Family and friends needed to return back home and to their own process and I was left to face my situation second after second, minute after minute and day after day. Don’t forget Your process is between you and Jesus.  No one can understand the true weight of your process BUT Jesus.

I was speaking with a friend a few weeks ago and I was getting anxious about the timing of a situation, and my sweet friend reminded me, Cristina – Process. There is a time and place for everything. (Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8) God knows your heart and He will fulfill it but there is a process that needs to occur and that can’t be skipped.

Brings to mind the book of Job. I was able to read the book of Job on multiple occasions through so many different hardships in my journey of life. But the one thing that the Holy Spirit told me recently was: “What happened to Job in chapter one of the book was tragic and heartbreaking, but if he didn’t endure chapters 1-41 then how would he be able to reap Chapter 42”? WOW. I stood with my mouth open. Your God wants to bless you and trust you with more but how can you expect God to do a Job 42 miracle if you are not willing to endure chapters 1-41 with a heart of humbleness and willingness to trust in Jesus?

Alert: Process is not meant to make you bitter, it is not meant to make you angry, it is not meant to make you digress. Let’s get rid of that thought right now. Those are not emotions that Jesus carries. Process is meant to push you to your purpose but if you skip the process and bow out to early you will never live out your full purpose. I don’t know about you but I don’t serve a half God so I shouldn’t live a half-life. Why should I carry out half of my purpose on this earth? We want the Job double portion blessing but are we willing to live out the Job process? Ask yourself, am I really allowing myself to finish the process that I am in right now? Am I anxious? (Philippians 4:6 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. “). Am I waiting on God to help me through this?  Your process is yours and yours alone. I believe that You can do it. I believe that you can finish this current level in your life, as scary as it is. There is a fighter within you so: Yes you can!
